Tithe Map - 1837 Building 683

This building is no longer visible on the ground but there was a building there when Ann was a little girl, 15 years ago? The following photos probably show the building which may have been converted and used as a barn before been demolished and the stone used to build the buildings in plot 317. In 1837 the building was described as belonging to John Thompson and inhabited by Joseph Moore. It consisted of a House, Garden Shed and Peat House.

Compare the gate post in each photo we think they are the same. This picture also shows that Friesian cows were once milked at Studfold.
